Who are we?

Who is MATCH Accommodation?
MATCH Accommodation is trading name of GTS Events Ltd, a subsidiary of Byrom plc, a sports event management company with headquarters near to Manchester. GTS, through Byrom plc, is also an affiliated company to MATCH Hospitality (Official hospitality partner of Silverstone). ROOM RESERVATIONS

How many rooms can I book online?
A maximum of five rooms can be booked online via the website. For a larger number of rooms or for group bookings, please contact us at sales@match-accommodation.com or call +44 (0)161 492 1919.

Are the website rates per person or per room?
Rates can be based either on an occupancy basis or on a room basis but is subject to the specific hotel being booked. At the time of booking, the description of the room type including the maximum occupancy will be shown.  Rooms sold on a room basis can be used for single or double occupancy without a price change.]

Do Tour Operators, Travel agencies or Group bookings are get preferential rates?
Our early bird offer enables bookings of 10 rooms or more per night to benefit from a 10% discount on sales rates at selected properties.  Call our sales team for more information +44 (0)161 492 1919

Guest supplements - How many people can stay in the room I have booked? 
For rooms sold on an occupancy basis, only the number of people confirmed during your booking can stay in the room.  Single occupancy allows one person and double occupancy allows two people. For additional guests, see the occupancy options when reviewing the room types and select the occupancy appropriate for your needs. Our sales team are happy to assist should you not find the room types you are looking for online.

Do the rates include all taxes?
Our rates include all applicable charges and taxes.

Do the rates include breakfast?
Breakfast is included in the majority of our hotel rates. Breakfast information will be shown during the booking process and within your confirmation. Breakfast is not included at our University accommodation (Waterside & Boughton Green).

PAYMENT

How do I pay for the room I book? Are the credit card details secured?
Payment for your Silverstone Hotel booking is made online and directly to MATCH Accommodation at the time of booking.  Payment shall be made in full and by credit card via a secure payment provider. The credit card details are never stored by MATCH Accommodation and as such, we can guarantee full security of your credit card information.   Please note: MATCH Accommodation is a trading name of GTS Events Ltd, so GTS Events Ltd is the name that will appear on your bank statement.

My credit card doesn’t work on your website, how can I make the payment?
Our website accepts VISA, MasterCard and AMEX cards for Silverstone Hotel bookings. If the online payment fails when you try to book your room with your credit card, please contact your issuing bank to check your card is authorised for online purchases of the value required.  Purchases can also be made offline. Please contact sales@match-accommodation.com.

BOOKING CONFIRMATION

How do I find or receive my booking confirmation?
You should automatically receive an email confirmation after your Silverstone hotel booking is completed. If you have not received this, please first check your junk mail. If you cannot find the confirmation email, please contact us at sales@match-accommodation.com.

Can I change the guest name on the room booking?
If you wish to change the guest name provided, please sign in to the website, select your booking and update your reservation as required. Should you need to make a name change less than 3 days before the check-in date, please contact sales@match-accommodation.com.

BOOKING AMENDMENTS / CANCELLATIONS

How can I cancel or change my Silverstone hotel booking?
Bookings can be cancelled online through your account but modifications are not possible. If you need to make changes to a booking or need help cancelling, please contact the sales team by email sales@match-accommodation.com or by phone +44 (0)161 492 1919.

Will I receive a full refund if the event Formula 1 British Grand Prix 2021 is cancelled or postponed?
Absolutely. Unlike many online booking platforms, our customer bookings are fully protected. Should the event be cancelled or held behind closed doors due to a Force Majeure circustance including Covid 19, our clients are entitled to a full refund.

Will I receive a refund if I cancel my booking?
Depending on when your cancellation is made, you will be liable to pay a Cancellation Fee, as per our Sales Terms and Policy. For full details please review the Terms and Conditions of Sales.

SIGN IN / PASSWORD

How do I sign in the Silverstone hotels booking website?
New users do not need to sign in and can simply search for available hotel. Existing customers should go to the sign-in page and enter your email address and password.

I have forgotten my password to sign in, what can I do?
In the sign in section of the website, enter your email address and click on ‘ Forgot your password ?’. You will then receive an email with a link to reset your password. Click on this link and follow the website instructions.

HOTEL CHECK IN

What happens if I arrive "late" at the hotel? Will my booking be maintained?
Your booking is guaranteed and will be maintained for the complete period booked no matter how late or on which day you may arrive.

What happens if I arrive early at the hotel or if I depart late?
Early check-ins or late check-outs cannot be guaranteed; it is up to the hotel on the day you arrive or depart to provide any flexibility. Please note that the hotels may charge guests for an early check-in or a late check-out. Should you wish to guarantee an early check-in or a late check-out, you will need to book an additional night via MATCH Accommodation.

Can I rely on the Silverstone F1 hotel booking and be sure that the hotel is notified?
Once your Silverstone hotel booking is confirmed and fully paid, you will receive an e-mail with full details of your confirmed hotel booking and the amount paid. When completing the initial booking you MUST provide the name of the guest/s that will be using each room. This information is provided to the hotel in advance via our rooming list.
